'The Vedas R Us!'

The first seminar, in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, was titled A New Paradigm: Veda, Consciousness, the Rāmāyan, and the Self. In the second seminar, at Regent's College in London, Dr Nader discussed the themes of his most recent book, Ramayan in Human Physiology.

In a short introduction filmed for the Regent's College seminar, film director David Lynch observed, in his inimitable fashion, that Dr Nader shows how 'the Vedas R Us!' Put simply, the Ramayan, one of the 40 aspects of the Vedic literature, is much more than an ancient epic story of heroic exploits, said Dr Richard Johnson, director of the Transcendental Meditation programme in the UK. It is, in Dr Nader's words, 'a precise scientific description of how our body works, how our body evolves to enlightenment'. As he explains, the conclusion is: 'Now we know we truly are Wholeness.'

Audiences greatly appreciated the depth of knowledge presented in Dr Nader's lectures. His discovery 'makes concrete Maharishi's description of how the sounds of the Veda are within us as the vibrations of our own Self. These sounds are the blueprint that becomes our physiology and ultimately the entire universe,' Dr Johnson commented. These fascinating seminars also described the practical application of this profound knowledge, to transform the life of individuals and also to create world peace.

In addition to the seminars, Dr Nader spoke at a banquet celebrating the Maharishi Peace Palace that is planned to be built in Rendlesham, Suffolk, in the coming year.

He also visited Maharishi Free School in Skelmersdale and met with all the teachers and staff, discussing with them in depth many principles of Consciousness-Based Education. He visited several classrooms and delighted students by talking with them about their studies and their interests and aspirations.

As in his major New Paradigm tour in North America in 2012, Dr Nader met with representatives of the Indian community in the UK. Among the many attendees were a number of doctors who were deeply interested in this new perspective, about the connection between human physiology and the ancient knowledge of the Veda and Vedic literature, and eager to gain more knowledge about it, Dr Johnson said.
