Germany: Global Mother Divine Organization holds national women's group meditations to raise coherence in national consciousness

The Global Mother Divine Organization* in Germany has instituted a continuing series of National Group Meditation meetings for women. Women Teachers and practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme have been meeting together every two weeks in locations around the country, to increase coherence and harmony in the collective consciousness of the nation.

Extensive scientific research has documented the effect of rising coherence in collective consciousness resulting from large groups practising these technologies of consciousness together—including decreased social stress, crime, and violence and increased positivity in community and national life.

The women's programme started through the inspiration of Mathilde Stork, Director of the Total Knowledge Based Education Foundation in Germany—one of five Foundations implementing the programmes of the Global Mother Divine Organization (GMDO) in countries around the world.

The fortnightly meetings are held via national conference call. In addition to the group meditation, the programme includes a knowledge session on Maharishi's Vedic Science and technologies of consciousness, including readings from books by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and the Global Country of World Peace.

Also featured are reports about Global Mother Divine Organization activities in Germany, as well as news indicating rising coherence in the nation. Participants also discuss ideas and plans for achieving goals of Maharishi's programmes in their local areas.

Women who attend enjoy connecting with many other women Meditators across Germany, often reporting that they feel nourished and supported in their personal lives as a result of the bliss they experience during the meetings.

The National Group Meditation Programme was featured in a presentation of GMDO–Germany's achievements of the past year, along with new initiatives and plans for 2011, during the global Full Moon celebration on 19 January—a continuing session of the Global Mother Divine Organization's 12 January celebrations in MERU, Holland.
