Students in Vietnam and the Philippines are enjoying the benefits of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and interest in Consciousness-Based Education in these countries is expanding.
Raja Bob LoPinto, Raja of Invincible Vietnam and the Philippines for the Global Country of World Peace, recently spoke about initiatives in education and other areas in these countries.
Vietnam Two new Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Vietnam are greatly increasing the effectiveness of making the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi more widely available in their nation, Raja LoPinto said.
Those who learn Transcendental Meditation recommend it to their friends, and in this way the number of Meditators in the country is growing. A new website about Transcendental Meditation will also help make information about the programme more widely available.
The Teachers are translating materials, including the Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course, so that soon more Teachers can be trained.
Consciousness-Based Education is a primary focus for the country, and two universities have expressed interest in offering Transcendental Meditation to their students, Raja LoPinto continued.
Philippines In the Philippines, Raja LoPinto continued, 200 students in a school have learned Transcendental Meditation.
The school, which is very committed to the programme, plans to construct a new building to accommodate another 1,000 students who would have the opportunity to become Yogic Flyers.
This coherence-creating group of students at the school would generate a powerful influence of harmony and invincibility for the nation, Raja LoPinto said.
