Quebec City, Montreal enlivened by national Consciousness-Based Education tour

As the national tour for Consciousness-Based Education made its way eastward across Canada, fruitful meetings with school principals continued in Montreal, as well as planning sessions there and in Quebec City with Teachers and practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme to implement the award-winning educational approach.

A well-known, well-respected medical doctor and professor at a major university in Montreal spoke at presentations given by Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Canada, and Dr Ashley Deans. 'Wherever he came with us, he transformed the understanding of the school principals through his discussions about the brain physiology and integration,' said Raja Paul.

Major steps of progress in implementing Maharishi's programmes also were taken through meetings and celebrations with Transcendental Meditation Teachers and practitioners in both cities. Dr William Overall, National Director of Canada for the Global Country of World Peace, reporting on Global Country activities around the world, inspired everyone about the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility to be built at Niagara Falls.

During an impromptu visit to Quebec City, 20 Teachers of Transcendental Meditation met with the delegation. The meeting went on into the night, Raja Paul said, with planning to bring the scientifically validated benefits of Consciousness-Based Education—including increased intelligence and learning ability, improved academic performance, increased creativity, development of total brain functioning, improved health and social behaviour—to schools and students throughout the area.

Also during the tour, Dr Susie Potter met with members of the Global Mother Divine Organization*—in Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. Raja Paul praised 'the initiative under the leadership of the Raj Rajeshwari of Canada to bring enlightenment to all the ladies of Invincible Canada'.

Commenting on this leg of the national tour, Raja Paul said that 'the family feeling in this warm, French culture was so lively—it was such a pleasure to be there.'

* The Global Mother Divine Organization, established in December 2007, is the ladies' wing of the Global Country of World Peace.
