On 23 May 2009 Twin cities.com reported: A Maharishi Invincibility Center has opened on St. Paul's East Side. Organizers of this new centre for Transcendental Meditation hope to reduce the crime rate, auto accidents, and hospital admissions. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of world peace.

The twin.cities.com article stated, 'The center, also known as a 'peace palace,' will teach the meditation techniques developed by Indian spiritual teacher Maharishi Mahesh Yogi more than 50 years ago. . . .

'Advocates say Transcendental Meditation can reduce blood pressure, lower anxiety and stress, increase intelligence and help people quit smoking and achieve ''physical and emotional invincibility,'' ' the article continued.

Based on an interview with Billie Jean Billman and Jim Horwath, co-directors of the new centre, the article reports, 'If as little as 1 percent of a community practices the technique, advocates say, Transcendental Meditation can result in a drop in crime, fewer accidents, less illness. . . . Even world peace could break out if enough people practiced Transcendental Meditation', according to the teachers.

The new Peace Palace, which took three years to complete, has an east entrance, ornamental arches and columns. Rooms in the building will be used for teaching Transcendental Meditation, group practice of Yogic Flying, and Ayur-Veda consultations, during which an Ayurvedic expert can detect oncoming illness 'by feeling your pulse,' Ms Billman is quoted as saying.

* Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through full development of consciousness.

Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
