Sweden, African nations start organizations, projects to realize Maharishi's programmes for invincibility, ideal education

The Maharishi Sweden Development Fund was inaugurated recently, which will provide support for all the activities of the Global Country of World Peace in Sweden; in Africa, Ethiopia and Nigeria have begun new projects in the field of Consciousness-Based Education.

Sweden
The Maharishi Sweden Development Fund will provide a channel and support for the expansion and growth of all the activities of the Global Country of World Peace in Sweden: groups of Yogic Flyers, buildings throughout Sweden—Peace Palaces, Maharishi Invinciblity Centres*, and the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility—and all the other activities of Maharishi's programmes.

Groundbreaking was held for a garden house, to be built according to Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, which will also support the new fund.

To advise and assist in the promotion of Maharishi's programmes, a board of successful people is being brought together from different areas of society, including business, education, medicine, and science, all of whom are practising the Transcendental Meditation programme and understand its benefits.

Initiatives for school programmes involving Transcendental Meditation were started in four locations.

Ethiopia
A Consciousness-Based Education programme was started in two schools; and meetings have been held with prospective students for Maharishi University of Management, USA, which draws many students from Ethiopia.

Nigeria
Plans have been finalized for establishing a legal organization in Nigeria, the Maharishi Development Foundation.

* Maharishi Invincibility Centres in major cities around the world offer the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme, to promote enlightenment for every individual and invincibility for every nation through full development of consciousness.
