Maharishi Peace Palace groundbreaking in Greece, Northern Ireland school starts Transcendental Meditation instruction

New projects were recently inaugurated in countries around the world to implement the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in the fields of health, education, Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture, and national invincibility. Examples of projects beginning or already underway include:

Greece
The National Director of the Global Country of World Peace and the National Coordinator for the Global Mother Divine Organization* in Greece recently performed the groundbreaking ceremony on land where a Maharishi Peace Palace will be built, as part of the first phase of creating invincibility for Greece.

Northern Ireland
The programme was started to teach Transcendental Meditation in a school near land already owned by the national Transcendental Meditation organization. Over 100 pupils in three schools on both sides of the Belfast Peace Line have already started the practice.

A Maharishi School and Maharishi Tower of Invincibility will also be built on this land.

Republic of Ireland
In Ireland an application was made for expanded development of facilities on Maharishi's Island of World Peace in Westport, County Mayo. This will further enhance the Maharishi Sthapatya Veda facility to provide 40 bedrooms, two meeting rooms, two rooms for group practice of Yogic Flying, a kitchen and restaurant, and a reception area. The facility will have approximately 12,000 sq ft [1,115 sq metre] of floor area in two large and two smaller buildings designed and constructed according to Sthapatya Veda, Maharishi Vedic Architecture.
