New initiatives creating invincibility for Russia

During the Maharishi Global Family Chat on 17 November, Dr Maxim Shatohin, National Director for the Global Country of World Peace in Russia, gave an inspiring report about many initiatives underway across the nation.

Last month, 56 practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Technique and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, attended a World Peace Assembly near Moscow. Dr Shatohin reported that five assemblies have been held over the past two years. The goal is to establish a group of 1,500 Yogic Flyers to create permanent peace and invincibility for Russia.

The activities of the Transcendental Meditation organization in Russia have been restructured under the guidance of Dr Bjarne Landsfeldt, Raja (Administrator) of Invincible Russia for the Global Country of World Peace. Maharishi Vedic Science and Technology has been established as a legal, not-for-profit organization in Russia, teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme, and providing other programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.

A new website has been developed promoting eleven regional centres across Russia where people can learn Transcendental Meditation. In addition, a website has been created for Teachers and practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, to provide knowledge and inspiration, and to organize the activities across the country.

New brochures are being designed to promote Transcendental Meditation for individuals, and also one for businesses—being developed with support from the Center for Leadership Performance in the United States where this programme is widely implemented. Other brochures will feature Maharishi Sthapatya Veda—Vedic Architecture in harmony with Natural Law, and the Maharishi Ayur-Veda system of health care. Maharishi Ayurveda products can now be ordered online in Russia, and Maharishi Ayur-Veda Clinics are opening across the country.

Maharishi Sthapatya Veda has established an office in Russia, and Dr Shatohin said they are looking at land near St Petersburg to build a hotel according to the principles of Vastu—Vedic architecture.
