Securing a stable number of Maharishi Vedic Pandits for Invincible America

Speaking on the Global Family Chat, Raja Robert Wynne, Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City in Iowa, USA, announced measures to maintain stable numbers of Maharishi Vedic Pandits in America through a rotation system organized jointly with leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in India.

Raja Wynne's announcement was an update on news featured in a recent Global Good News article, reporting that the number of Vedic Pandits currently in Maharishi Vedic City has reached 1055, making a very special contribution to the Invincible America Assembly where more than 2000 Yogic Flyers are practising together twice daily (in Maharishi Vedic City and Maharishi University of Management in nearby Fairfield, Iowa). Raja Wynne thanked the 2500 supporters from 23 countries who have contributed to this project.

Raja Wynne reflected that it is two years since the first 300 Vedic Pandits arrived in America. Since some of that first group will now be returning to their home country of India, new groups will be arriving to replace them. Rotating the groups in this way will ensure that the target of 1050 Maharishi Vedic Pandits for America will always be met.

Raja Wynne also reported rapid progress with construction projects in Maharishi Vedic City, saying that since the inauguration of the Maharishi Peace Palace two weeks ago, further improvements in the infrastructure have been underway, including paving of roads, upgrading the water supply, and construction of homes and condominiums near the Peace Palace.

Raja Wynne concluded his report with news of a record harvest this year from 2 acres of greenhouses where organic vegetables are grown. The yield from the greenhouses far exceeded that of the previous year. In addition, 150 acres of land are producing organic cold-pressed sunflower oil. More greenhouses are planned for next year to allow for a wider variety of crops, and there is a plan to supply at least three hundred customers with weekly deliveries of fresh organic food.
