Turkey: Istanbul inaugurates Raja's visit with celebration, planning for Ideal Village

Continuing his presentation on 29 October Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Turkey for the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about the first day and overall programme for his visit to that country.

In Istanbul on the first evening, Raja Paul met with all the Teachers and practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying, as well as the 12 Directors of the Global Country of World Peace in Turkey. The large gathering at the meeting and celebration included the first two Meditators in Turkey, who began Transcendental Meditation in 1966 when Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, first visited Istanbul.

Following a banquet, an inspiring meeting was held with the ladies of the Global Mother Divine Organization with Dr Susie Potter in the Istanbul Invincibility Centre, which is a very grand building with many rooms and offices.

Raja Paul said that their overall itinerary for the visit to Turkey included a general celebration held first in each city, followed by separate meetings for men and ladies. The men focussed on expansion: plans for building the Ideal Village* and starting a university, while the ladies conducted very fruitful meetings with questions and answers about the teaching of Transcendental Meditation and the role of the Global Mother Divine Organization, with Dr Susie Potter.
