Invincible Japan Course begins

Speaking 12 July 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Raja John Konhaus, Raja of Invincible Japan for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on the newly established Invincible Japan Course for Yogic Flyers, to be modeled after the successful Invincible America Assembly in Fairfield and Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA.

The Invincible Japan Course will host practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, for periods of several months to a year, as they devote themselves fully to longer meditation programmes and deeper experiences of higher states of consciousness, and through their group practice creating an influence of coherence, harmony, prosperity, and peace both within Japan and radiating to the world.

The course participants will also have the chance to watch videotapes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, speaking on the growth of Unity Consciousness*, which were recorded especially for the Invincible America Assembly, reported Raja Konhaus. 'During the many years I've been involved in the Global Country of World Peace organization,' continued Raja Konhaus, 'I've never heard a more profound theory of the development of experience and knowledge than that which Maharishi brought to the first group of Invincible America participants, recorded on these tapes.' He added that the tapes will soon be translated into the Japanese language, and presented to the growing Yogic Flying assembly.

The core group of the Yogic Flying assembly will reside at the Maharishi Academy in Nasu, Japan, said Raja Konhaus. However, progress is underway in acquiring separate pieces of land surrounding the academy, which will contain residences for additional course participants. 'Already, we've finished the planning stages for the building of five apartment buildings and eight individual homes,' reported Raja Konhaus. 'We hope to begin construction soon so that our current capacity for 100 participants will expand to allow housing for the entire assembly.'

'We believe this developing community, surrounding the academy at Nasu, will eventually allow the assembly to reach 1,200 Yogic Flyers, the number needed for national invincibility,' concluded Raja Konhaus.

* Unity Consciousness, the highest state of human development, seventh of the seven states of consciousness described by Maharishi as developing naturally through the regular practice of his Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
