Speaking 24 June 2008 on Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Dominique Lemoine, National Director of France for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on the founding of a small publishing company in his country, which will distribute books on topics related to Maharishi's knowledge.

The publishing company, called Narratif, was founded by National Director of Communications for the Global Country of World Peace in France, Dr Jean-Pierre Amoyal, and his wife Laura Amoyal. Through Narratif, they hope to fill the gap in French-language literature, by publishing books on Maharishi's Vedic Science and Technologies, Consciousness-Based Education, Vedic Management and corporate programmes, and Maharishi Ayur-Veda healthcare, among other fields.

The main goal of this company, said Dr Lemoine, is to publicize Maharishi's knowledge and programmes throughout France and French-speaking countries. In addition, the company aims to produce documents that might be offered to local and national authorities.

While the company doesn't yet have a commercial distributor, their books can be found on Amazon.com, as well as a large online book vendor based in France.

'One year ago, we didn't have a single French book available,' said Dr Lemoine. 'Now, as of six months ago, we have three books covering topics of Maharishi's knowledge.' The books include TM as Transcendental Meditation, written by Laura Amoyal, an up-to-date synthesis of advancements in Maharishi's programmes, including a thorough summary of scientific research on the Transcendental Meditation Technique.

The second book published by Narratif, continued Dr Lemoine, is a translation of A Record of Excellence by Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education and Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. 'We hope that the publishing of this book will help motivate administrators, teachers, and parents to introduce Transcendental Meditation into the French school system,' said Dr Lemoine.

A third book recently published in French, though not distributed by Narratif, is film director David Lynch's Catching the Big Fish. 'We were surprised at the warm reception of this book by the French press and public,' remarked Dr Lemoine, compared to previous coverage.

Upcoming projects by Narratif include a new edition of Maharishi's Science of Being and Art of Living, Dr Lemoine said. In conclusion, he emphasized the magnitude of Narratif's achievement. 'These new publications will quickly lead to heightened awareness of Maharishi's knowledge, hastening the rise to national invincibility in France.'
