Germany: Global Country of World Peace activities spark new wave of positive coverage in the national press

Dr Emanuel Schiffgens, Raja (Administrator) of the Global Country of World Peace for Germany, reported recently on a Global Family Chat that news and a photograph of the Maharishi Tower of Invincibility had appeared in an editorial on the front page of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. This is the Sunday edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine, the most prestigious and well-known newspaper of Germany.

Dr Schiffgens reported that they had been planning to have an advertisement inviting the people to become Founders of Invincibility, but the news had struck so immediately, that even before the ad could be placed, the editorial came out—so the people could read, 'We are crowning Germany with Invincibility. We are inviting all the well-wishing, patriotic citizens of our country to participate in building a Tower of Invincibility, in the centre of Germany in Erfuhrt, as a pride of the nation, and to perpetuate the name by fulfilling this most desirable of national requirements of all times.'

In his article, the journalist, who had begun Transcendental Meditation 35 years ago, said 'Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is creating this invincibility.' Referring to invincibility bonds, the journalist asked, 'Who wants to finance it? Who can buy the first German Invincibility Bond? This is surely the best investment of all time.'

'This is the voice of the German Press, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung,' said Dr Schiffgens.

Dr Schiffgens also reported that a journalist had come from Erfurt to interview them for two and a half hours. All the Ministers [for Germany, of the Global Country of World Peace] were interviewed, and the journalist wanted to see every room of the Peace Palace there, because when he saw the advertisement in the newspapers, he thought, 'This is a very serious project. We have to take it very seriously; we have to report in depth. We have to report everything—how this nation becomes invincible; what is behind it; what is Yogic Flying and what is the Maharishi Effect; what is the Unified Field of all the laws of nature?' He was interviewing all the Ministers with such great dedication.

'It was just a joy to see the big interest of the press in Germany,' said Dr Schiffgens.

Press releases have been sent out every day inviting the people to support the project and become Founders of Invincible Germany. Well-wishers of peace and invincibility in Germany have been coming forward, and soon they will hold the first banquet in the Peace Palace, honouring the Founders of Invincible Germany.

Another development is that the biggest builder in the town where Veda Park [a Park of Pure Knowledge] will be built, heard the press conference in Berlin, during which it was announced that Raam [the Development Currency for the Global Country of World Peace] had been received for supporting a group of Vedic Pandits [peace-creating experts] in Germany. This builder said that now the thousand Vedic Pandits have to come to Germany, he would start building for Raam.

'So he will be building for Raam. He has studied the whole thing and he is completely in love with the Raam,' reported Dr Schiffgens. The builder said 'The Raam, this is the Global Development currency. This should be the currency of our town; it should be the currency of our region. This should be the currency of Germany.'

So the builder is accepting Raam for the building, and he is starting three new buildings. Two new architects have been arranged to help him finalize all the drawings and details. The builder's suppliers are also accepting the Raam, and the builder is very excited about seeing the Raam circulate throughout Germany.

'This is Raam Raj [Heaven on Earth, the rule of Total Natural Law] dawning in Germany,' said Dr Schiffgens, 'and we thank Maharishi for this great gift of knowledge and practical programmes we have received.'
