Raja Dean Dodrill, leader of the Global Country of World Peace for Washington, DC, is working on establishing a veterans' programme in that area to teach Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation to returning US war veterans—to help mend their lives and smooth the path to restoring a feeling of normality.

Transcendental Meditation is a powerful stress-relieving technique that can greatly aid veterans in making a graceful transition to a non-combative environment and harmoniously re-integrating into their families and society, by helping to alleviate the deep stress of combat and warfare, which can manifest in post-traumatic stress disorder.
