The Album features the work of Mr Joachim Claes, a Belgian expert in environmentally sound building practices who is also a Vastu Director for the Global Country of World Peace. According to Mr Claes, sandbag construction is an inexpensive and easy approach to green building which can readily be applied to create beautiful, comfortable buildings designed according to principles of Vedic architecture, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.

Mr Claes led a project in Ukraine in which five Vastu sandbag homes have been built. He expects that the technology, which was invented in South Africa, will soon be widely used in other developing countries of Africa and Latin America.
