India: Maharishi Ayurveda holds women's health camp at Noida

Maharishi Ayurveda - India recently organized a free health checkup and consultancy camp in Noida, near Delhi. Mr. Alok Shrivastava, health camp coordinator of Maharishi Ayurveda, said that the camp was facilitated by the Navsankalp Lioness Club of Noida.
Mrs. Sujata Shrivastava, President of the Navsankalp Club, hosted the event and a large number of patients of the area, especially women, children and senior citizens, availed themselves of the opportunity.
Dr Girish Saxena and Dr. Jyotsana Semwal, eminent physicians of Ayurveda, medically checked and prescribed well researched medicines to the patients.
Mrs. Aditi Bahadur and Ms. Amrita Shrivastava, Transcendental Meditation teachers, gave an introductory talk on meditation to the patients. Giving examples of many scientific research studies, they explained that the practice of TM can help anyone to stay fit mentally and physically.
The event received substantial coverage from the media, including Punjab Kesari, Chetna Manch, and other newspapers that carried the story.
