Raja Fagan presents Maharishi's practical approaches to solving the current global threat to food purity and safety.

Raja Fagan continued:
'Although genetic engineering hasn't been fully vanquished at this point, I believe that without what Maharishi enlivened around the world in our awareness and especially in his worldwide organizations, today genetic engineering would have overwhelmed the world and the world's food supply.

'And if that had happened, it would have disallowed the possibility of securing a food supply for the world that truly supports that growth of consciousness that we all value so much; and the expansion of consciousness that will bring healthy enlightenment to the world and healthy invincibility and fulfilment to everyone.'

Raja Fagan emphasized that Maharishi's most important gift to the world was Transcendental Meditation, the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, Yogic Flying, and the large coherence-creating groups established around the world—because when these large groups come together, the coherence created in collective consciousness results in greater and greater values of total Natural Law being lived by the whole population. 'With this, impurity in the food system, as well as everywhere else, just naturally melts away. It's a spontaneous and natural thing,' Raja Fagan said.

Raja Fagan showed slides as he spoke about the accomplishments and goals in the area of food purity, food safety, and healthy invincibility, which he offered to Maharishi and Guru Dev during the celebrations for Guru Purnima this year.

Raja Fagan said they had looked deeply into such areas as the knowledge needed to assure that the food system is pure and safe; assessing the purity and safety of food; and producing these foods. Research is a way of expressing Maharishi's Vedic approaches to policy makers, and research can also highlight problems, such as pesticides and GMO [genetically modified organisms] crops, again to be used to move policy and educate the population.

Raja Fagan explained that testing and certification are based on methodologies, procedures, and technologies that are based on standards, laws, and international accords. 'All of this is applied in the production, processing, and preparation of food, and in the delivery of those foods to the people. Testing and certification evaluates and guides what is happening in food production to make sure the knowledge present is fully translated into pure, safe, and healthy food that creates invincibility in our world,' he said.
