International Foundation of Consciousness-Based Education to offer new in-depth course for university students

A 32-lesson course has been prepared for students of post-secondary institutions who have learned the Transcendental Meditation Programme.

This two-semester, two-unit course presents the systematic programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to fulfil the goals of diverse areas of society, said Dr Susan Dillbeck, President of the International Foundation of Consciousness-Based Education, speaking on 12 January 2011.

Students have the opportunity to learn about programmes for education, health, agriculture, architecture, government, defence, culture, and economy.

Through lectures by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as well as scientists and other experts in these fields, 'this academic course is intended to inspire the students with the great value of these programmes for their country as well as for their own life,' Dr Dillbeck said.

An Administrator of the Global Country of World Peace for Latin America inspired the creation of this course, and he plans to offer it to many thousands of students in several post-secondary institutions in Latin America.
