Many hundreds of of students practising Transcendental Meditation in South Africa

Students in South Africa are supporting the rise of harmony and coherence in their nation through their practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and Yogic Flying.

Six hundred students and about 180 educators have learned the Transcendental Meditation Programme in 10 schools, said Robert LoPinto, administrator of South Africa for the Global Country of World Peace.*

Reports from students, teachers, and administrators at all of the schools have been extremely positive, he said, and now students at two of these schools will soon have the opportunity to become Yogic Flyers.

These students will help create invincibility for the nation, Mr LoPinto said.

One hundred student Yogic Flyers and 100 student practitioners of Transcendental Meditation at Maharishi Invincibility Institute are also helping to create national invincibility.

Maharishi Invincibility Institute, Mr LoPinto reported, is offering degrees through distance education in collaboration with Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA.

He also expressed appreciation for the strong leadership of the Transcendental Meditation programme in South Africa. Under the direction of Dr Vicki and Dr Richard Broome, South Africa has one of the most successful Maharishi Invincibility Centres* in the world.

Other leaders in South Africa, including National Director Dr Richard Peycke and National Director of Education Dr Taddy Blecher, are working to establish coherence-creating groups, and through their inspiration a number of international personalities have become proponents of Transcendental Meditation.

Not only have these leaders had great success in South Africa, they have also supported the blossoming of the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in countries throughout the world, Mr LoPinto said.
