Seychelles: School students learning Transcendental Meditation can help create national invincibility

Initiatives are moving ahead in Seychelles for the establishment of national invincibility, including meetings with governmental officials and educational leaders. Several schools are interested in implementing Consciousness-Based Education programmes in which students would learn the Transcendental Meditation Technique.
Dr Annie Falk, a Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, was recently invited to speak at a conference for lady leaders in the country. She spoke of Transcendental Meditation and its many benefits for the individual and society, and her presentation was very well received. Following her speech, a government minister—who practises Transcendental Meditation—reinforced Ms Falk's message about the programme and its applications.
With assistance from the former education minister, also a Transcendental Meditation practitioner, Ms Falk has been in contact with the heads of two private schools in Seychelles, who have expressed strong interest in implementing Consciousness-Based Education within their institutions. Raja Bruce Plaut, Raja of Invincible Seychelles for the Global Country of World Peace, reported on 12 May 2009 that additional Transcendental Meditation Teachers plan to visit the country, to follow up in those schools, instructing as many students as possible.
'As a nation of population 80,000, Seychelles doesn't require a large group of Yogic Flyers for the creation of invincibility,' said Raja Plaut. However, because of the island nation's proximity to Ethiopia and to areas having recently experienced piracy, hopes are to establish a substantial group of Yogic Flyers to help ensure peace for the entire region.
