Dr Graham de Freitas, Raja of the Global Country of World Peace spoke recently about the successful educational tour and activities in the English-speaking Caribbean, which is part of his domain.
In the Caribbean there has been a tour by teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme from Invincible Trinidad. Trinidad is the first country of the world to become invincible through a Consciousness-Based Education programme, which started in May 2007 at a college in Trinidad. The teachers of Transcendental Meditation (TM) from Trinidad were asked by Maharishi 'to be kind to their neighbours' and to go to the other islands and inspire them to also become invincible.
Other countries in the Caribbean include Grenada, which has an invincibility requirement of only 30 Yogic Flyers; St Vincent, which has an invincibility number of 35; and Barbados, where a meeting was recently attended by over 100 people.
The National Leader of Barbados for the Global Country of World Peace now has appointments at the highest level of government to talk about the Tower of Invincibility and Consciousness-Based Education.
Dr de Freitas also spoke about Dominica, which is an island of 90,000 people, needing 32 Yogic Flyers to create invincibility. The Transcendental Meditation teachers from Trinidad held a number of meetings in Dominica. A slide was shown of the National Leader and Founder of Invincibility for Trinidad, talking about the Maharishi Effect to an audience in Dominica.
There was also a very successful hour-long TV show with a very well-informed interviewer, which brought out comprehensive information about Transcendental Meditation and Consciousness-Based Education.
Dr de Freitas then spoke about the beautiful islands of Antigua. A Transcendental Meditation teacher from nearby Guadeloupe came and set up an appointment for the team of touring teachers from Trinidad, who met with the chief education officer of this country. The number of Yogic Flyers required for Antigua is 30.
The last islands to be mentioned were St Kitts and Nevis, for which the invincibility number of Yogic Flyers is only 20. A group of very interested and enthusiastic school teachers attended a lecture, and if all of them became Yogic Flyers, this would take care of St Kitts.
The travelling team of Transcendental Meditation teachers is now back at work in Trinidad. They will soon be teaching a new group of students, consolidating their invincibility group, and in some weeks they will have few hundred more Yogic Flyers to add to the original 100 who created invincibility in the first place.
'So this is going to be a great achievement, not only for Trinidad to have four times its national requirement of Yogic Flyers in these groups of students, but it also will have a great influence on the Caribbean and the surrounding area,' said Dr de Freitas. 'This is a great achievement of Raja Jose Luis Alvarez who began this project early last year, with the wonderful Trinidad Movement of Maharishi's which has been active and continuing to bring coherence to the whole region for many years.'
Dr de Freitas thanked the Transcendental Meditation teachers of Trinidad and Tobago for preparing and conducting the tour. They have enlivened their neighbours in such a way, he said, that it seems the invincibility of the Caribbean is only a short time away.
