Dr Deans presents Consciousness-Based Education in Belgium

Dr Ashley Deans, Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA recently traveled to Belgium to meet with educators and present the benefits of Consciousness-Based Education.

Among his presentations was one to the faculty of a middle school, where the teachers had invited Dr Deans to speak. His talk was warmly received. The teachers were particularly enthusiastic about the idea of starting each day with the practice of the Transcendental Meditation Technique.

Dr Deans also gave a presentation to a group of school counselors who were especially interested in helping students who had dropped out return to school. They discussed the possibility of government funding for these students to have the benefit of Consciousness-Based Education.

Another presentation was made to educators who were already practising Transcendental Meditation and its advanced techniques themselves. They were inspired to hear about the dramatic and wide-ranging improvements enjoyed by both students and teachers through Consciousness-Based Education.
