Students helping to make New England invincible

Speaking recently during a Global Family Chat, broadcast live via satellite and over the Internet by the Maharishi Channel, Dr Kingsley Brooks, Raja of New England, USA, for the Global Country of World Peace, recounted delightful stories about students contributing to rising invincibility in New England.

A student from Boston University, the largest school in [New England], called the Boston Invincibility Centre and wanted to write a story about the beneficial effects of Transcendental Meditation (TM) on stress. That yielded a very good article that came out recently about the Transcendental Meditation Programme and its availability in the Boston area.

Dr Brooks also mentioned a young man who attends a local prep school, very near to Antrim, New Hampshire, seat of the Global Country of World Peace in New England. This student had a deep desire for some time to learn Transcendental Meditation; after he learned the practice, his mother, who originally did not share his enthusiasm for TM, became so enthralled with the changes and beneficial effects it had on him, that she herself also wanted to learn.

'And now, after one year of practising the TM technique, this boy has just decided to do his senior thesis project on the TM Programme and World Peace. He would like to create a World Peace Group at his school, and in this first week of organizing this group, he has 20 students who want to learn the practice of Transcendental Meditation and practise it twice daily together.

'This is just the seed of our new school, Maharishi Academy of Total Knowledge—High School for Leadership, because this boy's school is only half an hour from Antrim. It is a very good prep school this boy attends, so already we are creating the seed of the Maharishi Academy in other prep schools around the area,' said Dr Brooks.

Dr Brooks concluded by saying that it seems that the youth of today are searching for that field of life that will bring fulfilment—not only to their educational goals, but to their personal goals as well.

'The building of Invincibility Schools around the world, will meet with great success as we offer Maharishi's profound technologies to unfold the students' total brain potential and to gain that field of Total Knowledge, the fruit of all knowledge, in their own silent awareness,' Dr Brooks said.

'This curriculum of Total Knowledge from the blessings of Maharishi and our Holy Vedic Tradition and under the care of Maharaja Nader Raam and our great scientists of the Global Country of World Peace, will create a new generation of life, a new human race. We have such great hope for the whole future of mankind, with this emerging knowledge from Maharishi and the Vedic Tradition.'
