Arrowhead Provincial Park's 'fairy tale' ice trail attracts thousands

On 16 January 2015 The Toronto Star reported: A park near Huntsville, Canada been called Ontario's best kept secret, but the secret's out. A man-made ice trail runs 1.3 kilometres through Arrowhead Provincial Park. The number of non-skiing winter visitors to the park -- which also offers cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing, and tubing -- soared to 20,000 last winter. Word has spread as far as New Zealand and Scotland, say park staff. The ice trail's Instagram-worthiness is undeniable.
