Dr Robert Wynne, Raja of the Global Country of World Peace for Central Vedic America, spoke recently about the new arrival of 50 Vedic Pandits (peace-creating experts) in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, joining the 500 already there and the 1,700 Yogic Flyers currently attending the Invincible America Assembly.

Dr Wynne said that the next group of 50 Vedic Pandits will be arriving from India about the end of this week. This will increase the number of Vedic Pandits here in Maharishi Vedic City and Fairfield to 550. Shortly thereafter another group of 50 will come, making a current total of 600. As a result, the dining facility that was just completed is being expanded, by adding a western veranda. This will accommodate these 100 Vedic Pandits.

Dr Wynne also reported that a new construction will soon be started, for the group of 600 Pandits that are coming over the next few months. These will be apartments that the Pandits live in, and there will be seven apartments per building.

Dr Wynne said that a special building is going up on the Pandit Campus for celebrating the Vedic holiday of the Nine Days of Mother Divine, beginning on 12 October.

A recreation building is also being started for the winter months. It is currently warm and sunny in Maharishi Vedic City, Dr Wynne said, but the winters are getting more temperate, and it still can be a little cold in January and February. So when the Vedic Pandits are not doing their Yogic Flying with the rest of the Invincible America Assembly, or their Vedic Performances, they will have a facility for exercising and sports indoors.

The large entry gate to the Vedic Pandits' own 80-acre campus will be 25 feet high at the top, adorned with 2 elephants and crowned with one of the Kalash ornaments. Two large elephants will also be engraved in the fence, in the gates, and in the towers.
