Maharishi University of Management Press has achieved great success in publishing works in a variety of media—books, audio and video recordings, brochures, and booklets—on the knowledge of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Press Director Dr Harry Bright recently detailed latest technological advances and publications.

Books recently published by the Press include:

Conversations with Maharishi, by renowned Vedic scholar and MUM Trustee Dr Vernon Katz, which chronicles the conversations of Dr Katz with Maharishi in the 1960s regarding principles of Maharishi's Vedic Science and technology of consciousness.

The Flow of Consciousness: Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Speaks on Literature and Language, a widely-praised compilation of Maharishi's lectures on literature, language, and consciousness.

Superhealthy Kids: A Parent's Guide to Maharishi Ayur-Veda, the first book published on the topic of Maharishi Ayur-Veda natural health care geared towards children,* which has been very well received.

One of the most interesting shorter print publications is a 24-page summary compiled by Dr Michael Dillbeck, describing the most significant research studies on Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying. Dr Dillbeck is an expert in scientific research on the Transcendental Meditation Programme.

In recorded media, MUM Press has released a CD of Maharishi's timeless translation and commentary on the first six chapters of the Bhagavad-Gita, and a six-DVD set of his historic lecture series from the 1960s and 1970s.

'MUM Press uses state-of-the-art methods for printing, without use of toxic developer, which result in greater efficiency and value,' explained Dr Bright, and are also more eco-friendly.

The Press has also taken advantage of evolving web technologies; its newly redesigned website has received wide acclaim for simplicity and ease of use. Currently in development are e-books for Kindle, iPad, and other e-readers.

'These technological developments will ensure that an even greater number of readers will have easy access to these valuable publications,' commented Dr Bright in closing.

* An earlier book, For a Blissful Baby—by the same authors, Kumuda Reddy, MD, and Linda Egenes, MA, with Margaret Mullins, MSN—presented the Maharishi Ayur-Veda Mother-Baby programme.
