New online marketplace for Fortune-Creating homes in North America

Speaking on a recent Maharishi Global Family Chat, Dr Jon Lipman, Director of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda Architecture in the USA, announced a new online resource for those interested in Fortune-creating buildings constructed according to the life-supporting principles of Vastu vidya.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation Technique and the Global Country of World Peace, revived the ancient knowledge of Sthapatya Veda Architecture, which aligns the individual with the Laws of Nature, and thereby supports the perfect health, prosperity, and enlightenment of the building's occupants.

The new website, www.fortunecreatingbuildings.com/resource/, features a portfolio of pre-designed Vastu homes and buildings. The site will soon be completed, but valuable material can be accessed currently.

'Maharishi desired that there would be a portfolio of Fortune-Creating homes available to anyone around the world. A portfolio for Europe is maintained by Dr Eike Hartmann (Minister of Global Reconstruction for the Global Country of World Peace), and this portfolio will be for North America, since styles and building practices differ somewhat.'

'To me, the most exciting thing that we have recently posted is a clearinghouse of Maharishi Vastu properties,' said Dr Lipman. 'This idea was conceived by John Freeman, a Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Technique in California, who is developing this new feature of the website.' He continued, 'It is based on craigslist, an online database which can be accessed by anyone to buy and sell goods and services. Since craigslist launched four years ago, it has become enormously popular in the USA, with millions of hits and transactions. This will be our equivalent to craigslist for Fortune-cCreating homes in North America, and perhaps we'll expand this worldwide.'

The clearinghouse can be accessed at: www.Properties.Fortunecreatingbuildings.com. This interactive database includes Vastu land for sale, as well as homes, apartments, and offices. Said Dr Lipman, 'The clearinghouse will make it easier for everyone to get into Vastu, whether one wants to buy, rent, or take a vacation. This online service is free to visitors, and right now it is also free for anyone who desires to post a listing.'

There are currently 26 listings—'which is a lovely start,' said Dr Lipman—ranging from a vacation rental in British Columbia, Canada; and in the USA, a rental apartment in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, and a home for sale in Encinitas, California.

'This site will also be valuable to developers so they can get a sense of the market and interest in Fortune-Creating Homes,' according to Dr Lipman. Anyone with concrete plans to build a Maharishi Vastu building or community is invited to post the information on this clearinghouse, he said, 'to share with our worldwide community'.
