Africa and Asia: Invincible Defence technologies applied to create peace and harmony in nations

Continuing his report on the achievements of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Invincible Defence Technology* around the world, Lt Col (Ret.) Gunter Chassé, an international expert in this programme, described recent highlights in Africa and Asia.

Africa

During the four consecutive months of the national election cycle in Ghana, one of the central technologies of Maharishi's Invincible Defence was applied to create peace and harmony for the nation: Maharishi Yagya performances on a national scale, by special groups of Maharishi Vedic Pandits in India. During this time all eight presidential candidates signed agreements to maintain law and order throughout the elections. As a result the election and post-election period was devoid of national violence and crime.

Former President Kufuor of Ghana said that he had never witnessed a peaceful event of this nature in the country. Transcendental Meditation teachers in Ghana give credit for this positive change in the direction of peace in Ghana to the use of Maharishi's Invincible Defence Technology in the form of Yagya, Lt Col Chassé commented.

In his 3-day visit to Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), last year, Dr Bevan Morris, President of Maharishi University of Management, USA, met with government leaders in education and the military, presenting research on the benefits of Consciousness-Based Education and Invincible Defence.

On the island nation of Mauritius the number of people practising Transcendental Meditation is constantly increasing, Transcendental Meditation teachers report, and their daily practice contributes to more coherence in the collective consciousness of society. One reflection of this is that, with fewer accidents and reduced crime, members of the police are more involved in organizing the smooth flow of traffic.

At a large international press conference in South Korea, held during the second Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) in Seoul last year, Dr John Hagelin, renowned quantum physicist and President of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace, and Capt. Ray Seebald, US Coast Guard (Ret.), presented a unique field-tested solution to nuclear threats and terrorism, including a solution for the re-unification of Korea, based on Invincible Defence Technology.

An annual all-Russian assembly of advanced Transcendental Meditation practitioners was held to create coherence in national consciousness. The assembly was held in Moscow.

All of the Asian and African countries reported an increase in the number of people learning Transcendental Meditation and attending in-residence courses, all of which contributed to rising invincibility in their nations and the world, Lt Col Chassé said.

* Maharishi's principle of invincibility arising through the creation of coherent, harmonious national consciousness, means strengthening the nation against any negative or potentially disruptive influences from outside or within. Invincible Defence prevents the birth of an enemy so that fighting is not necessary anymore; this makes the nation invincible.
