Poland: Planning for a sustainable Maharishi Garden Village
by Global Good News staff writer

In Poland plans are developing for a sustainable Maharishi Garden Village designed according to Vastu architecture.
Vastu architects Andrzej Baran and Wojtek Skalski reported on a recent Maharishi Vastu conference in Warsaw, Poland, that attracted 60 participants.
The participants were deeply inspired by the spiritual roots of Vastu architecture in their own tradition—in Poland all the important palaces and churches are oriented to the cardinal directions.
Palaces such as the great Wilanow Palace have the main entrance and water to the east, both principles of Maharishi Vastu architectural design.
Preliminary plans for the sustainable Vastu Garden Village to be built near Warsaw are drawing local support. The project also offers a way to establish a coherence-creating group practising Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, to promote invincible harmony, peace, and progress in the nation.
