USA: Vedic Pandit group in Maharishi Vedic City soon to reach 1,250

This month more than 150 Maharishi Vedic Pandits will be arriving from India in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA, Dr Robert Wynne, Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, reported a few days ago. Next month a similar number will be joining their colleagues on the Vedic Pandit campus, he said.

By July, the total number of Maharishi Vedic Pandits in the United States will rise to 1,250—200 more than have ever been in the group at one time. This number, combined with the rest of the Invincible America Assembly in Vedic City and neighbouring Fairfield, Iowa, will achieve the threshold number of advanced meditation experts required to create a sustained influence of coherence for the nation (1,770).

In fact, Dr Wynne said, the new Pandits coming will enable the total Invincible America group to be over 2,000 in their daily group meditations most mornings and evenings. In addition, the Pandits conduct Vedic recitations that create a profound effect on the coherence and quality of life in America.

Over the last year, he also explained, organizers in India have focused on recruiting and training a large group of Vedic Pandits in India who will be ready to rotate to the U.S. as Pandits in the U.S. group return to India. This will ensure that the Vedic Pandit group in America will never dip below 1,250.

''Even though 2,200 Vedic Pandits have come to the U.S. over the past five years, until now there were not sufficient Pandits in India available to come in time to replace those going home. But after July this will no longer be the case,'' he said.

Dr Wynne praised the Howard and Alice Settle Foundation for an Invincible America, which continues to provide the majority of support for maintaining the Vedic Pandits while they are in America; and generous well-wishers of peace and invincibility for the U.S. who continue to provide the necessary support for campus construction and for the Vedic Pandits to come from India.

''Within four months we can finally attain permanent invincibility for America,'' Dr Wynne concluded. ''This will be a great day in the history of the world and a supreme gift to all future generations.''
