Maharishi Vedic City attracts visitors from around the world

People from all over the US, as well as countries around the globe, come to Maharishi Vedic City in Iowa, USA and enjoy it so much they say they want to stay.

Visitors bask in the atmosphere of coherence and harmony generated by large groups collectively practising Transcendental Meditation and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.

'We have people from all over the world come here . . . and they're all having the same experience: ''I really feel great. I'm so happy I came. . . . this has been a real regenerative experience,'' said Rogers Badgett, city councilman and founder of the award-winning Maharishi Ayurveda spa, The Raj.

'These people are so grateful to have someplace to come and recharge,' he added.

Although many express how difficult it is to get away from work and other responsibilities to make the trip, once they are in Maharishi Vedic City they often say, 'I really don't want to go home.' Then they contact their friends and inspire them to come too.

Even those not practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme, who have come to enjoy Maharishi Ayurveda treatments at The Raj, 'comment on the wonderful atmosphere', he said.
