Asian nations applying Maharishi's technologies of consciousness

In Sri Lanka, India, and Nepal, interest is rising in applications of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes and technologies of consciousness in education, health, agriculture, and world peace.
Col. Gunter Chassé, a retired officer in the German air force, recently toured these countries and helped promote some of these initiatives, including speaking to military leaders about Maharishi's Invincible Defense Technology.
Sri Lanka
Over 140 students and lecturers at a computer training college have learned the Transcendental Meditation Programme with excellent results. This success showed at the World Java Congress—an international conference for computer educators and students—and on the bright faces on graduation day.
India
The Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India is home to over 1,000 Maharishi Vedic Pandits who conduct special Vedic performances called Yagyas** for world peace every day, and who are creating a very soft, peaceful feeling in the surrounding area.
Nepal
Dr Deepak Baskota, director of the Transcendental Meditation Programme for Nepal, has arranged several conferences that inspired the leadership of the nation about Maharishi's programmes in education, health, defence, and agriculture. A group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits in Nepal performs Yagyas every day for national peace and invincibility.
** Maharishi Yagyas are precise Vedic performances, conducted by Maharishi Vedic Pandits in India, to create specific life-supporting influences for individuals and nations from the field of pure consciousness, the field of total Natural Law, which is awakened in the Pandits' consciousness through their daily practice of Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme.
