Many avenues to support reconstruction in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami last March are being promoted by Transcendental Meditation teachers and administrators in the country.
One initiative is to make the knowledge of Maharishi Vastu architecture and city planning widely available. The aim is to ensure that new structures are not only strong and safe, but support maximum protection, health, happiness, and good fortune for their inhabitants by utilizing time-tested principles of building in accord with Natural Law.
Training courses for Vastu Coordinators have been held in different parts of Japan, and more than 30 people have completed their training and are available to work on building projects.
Another valuable approach for the rebuilding of devastated areas is provided by the knowledge of Vedic city planning which incorporates Vastu principles and sustainability.
