India: Group of Maharishi Vedic Pandits expands, creating coherence in world consciousness

15 July 2011
The Maharishi Vedic Pandit group in the Brahmasthan (geographic centre) of India has been steadily expanding.
This group has a key role in creating coherence and harmony for the nation and the world through their practice of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's technologies of consciousness—Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, as well as special peace-creating Vedic recitations.
There are now 1,483 Vedic Pandits in the Brahmasthan, several hundred more than a year ago. Plans are underway to substantially increase that number.
The goal, according to administrators of Maharishi's programmes in India, is to achieve a group of 3,500 Pandits during the coming year. This will be enough to establish an invincible level of peace, progress, and prosperity for the nation, and create a substantial base for the ultimate goal of 16,000 Pandits—to bring invincibility for the entire world.
