On 12 July 2011 The Hollywood Reporter reported:
More than 30 artists representing multiple genres have contributed to an album -- 'Download for Good: Music that Changes the World' -- benefiting the David Lynch Foundation, a not-for-profit educational organization founded by the iconic director. The Foundation offers stress-reducing Transcendental Meditation to underserved populations including at-risk inner-city youth, US veterans suffering from PTSD, the homeless, and prisoners.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
'The artists who have shared their music are spreading happiness,' said David Lynch in a statement. 'With their music alone they're supporting programs that take away suffering and bring bliss to many people.'
The article reports that the 33-track digital album is available through iTunes.
