Plans are developing for several initiatives to create Maharishi Vastu (Vedic architecture) buildings in Ukraine.
Potential plans include a Maharishi Ayur-Veda spa and an educational institution.
Experts from the Institute of Vedic City Planning of Maharishi University of Management travelled to Ukraine to consult in the development of these projects. They gave presentations on Maharishi Sthapatya Veda architecture,* Vedic city planning, and sustainability. Local people were interested in the presentations and requested to see draft plans for a school.
'We designed the school according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, and developed a detailed booklet with the main three topics: first, sustainable green architecture; second, innovative concepts with communal gathering spaces for social interaction; and third, Vastu architecture in tune with nature,' said a leading Maharishi Vastu architect.
They also visited a proposed building site to see where the school could be positioned, and found it to be very auspicious according to principles of Maharishi Vedic architecture.
*Maharishi Sthapatya Veda is Vedic architecture in accord with natural law, also known as Maharishi Vastu.
