Mongolia: Global Mother Divine Organization inspires expansion of Transcendental Meditation Programme

The Global Mother Divine Organization* (GMDO) in Mongolia has been very active throughout the past year.

Over a year ago, the first five Mongolian Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme graduated from their Teacher Training Course. Of that group, the two women Teachers have been full-time, reporting steady progress in all their activities. More than 80 women and girls have learned Transcendental Meditation in recent months.

Of greatest importance for Mongolia, four more women are participating in the current Teacher Training Course in Chanthaburi, Thailand, scheduled to conclude 12 April 2011. On their return they will join the other women Teachers and open the next chapter of growth of the ladies' wing* of the Global Country of World Peace in their country.

Mongolia is known for its cold winters. Even so, up to 20 practitioners of the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme regularly cross Ulan Bator, the capital and largest city, for daily group practice of Yogic Flying—creating an influence of coherence, harmony, and peace in the collective consciousness of the nation.

This invincibility group meets at the spacious new Maharishi Invincibility Centre,** which also holds courses for the public, advanced courses for Meditators, and a weekly children's meeting.

Recently, Mongolians have enjoyed for the first time several courses offered by the Global Country, including an online course in Maharishi Ayurveda natural health care; and a course in Maharishi Vastu (Vedic) architecture, Sthapatya Veda.

The very popular new Global Mother Divine Organization course, Introduction to Maharishi Gandharva Veda Vocal Music, has been held for nine participants, with another course coming soon. One participant found the lessons 'very fascinating and wonderful'. Another said, 'Gandharva Veda songs make me feel refreshed and relaxed,' commenting that her voice became more melodious as she sang along with the songs in each lesson.

This news was featured in a presentation of GMDO–Mongolia's achievements of the past year, along with new initiatives and plans for 2011, during the global Full Moon celebration on 19 January—a continuing session of the Global Mother Divine Organization's 12 January celebrations in MERU, Holland.
