Ethiopia: Global Mother Divine Organization presents achievements

Many achievements of the Global Mother Divine Organization* (GMDO) in Ethiopia in the past year were presented, along with new initiatives and plans for 2011, during a recent international conference in MERU, Holland.

The organization helped to organize and supported the visit of Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, to Ethiopia in autumn 2010, during his tour promoting this ideal system of education in many African countries.

GMDO National Director Dr Kibre Dawit and Dr Deans made presentations to top leaders in education in Ethiopia, one of whom now wants to visit Maharishi University of Management in the United States, where many Ethiopian students are enrolled.

They also gave lectures to about 250 students at Ethiopia's Addis Ababa University, in the School of Business and Economics, and the School of Medicine; as well as at the Institute of Technology.

In addition to giving a radio interview about Consciousness-Based Education, and a public lecture in Addis Ababa about the Transcendental Meditation Technique and Consciousness-Based Education, Dr Deans and Dr Dawit met a former leading government official, and an important leader in health.

Dr Dawit, who is also National Director of the Global Country of World Peace in Ethiopia, also reported that the first National Yagya** performance was organized for Ethiopia, to increase coherence in the collective consciousness of the nation.
