16 March 2011
Niagara Falls, Canada is to be the location of a new Maharishi Vastu community—Maharishi Vedic Village. A workshop about Maharishi Vedic Architecture will be held 11-12 June on the 90 acre (36 hectare) property.
'Everyone is invited to attend to learn about the construction methods and the local materials used in these custom Maharishi Sthapatya Veda homes and chateaux,' said a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Canada on 16 March.
Construction of the gatehouse facility—which will operate as an office, a model home, and a facility for group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying—will begin mid-June.
This is the first step in the fulfilment of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's plan to establish a permanent coherence-creating group of Yogic Flyers in Canada, he said.
There are also plans to construct a Maharishi Tower of Invincibility on this beautiful riverside land.
