US: Washington DC summit to address Maharishi's technologies for world peace

A two-day international symposium will beheld in autumn 2011 in Washington, DC, USA, where experts will gather to explore the benefits of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes for individuals, institutions, nations, and the world.

The summit will be titled:

The Power of Coherence: Meditation, Peace, and the Brain:
∙ Overcoming long-term consequences of traumatic stress
on individuals and societies
∙ Exploring the frontiers of neuroscience, physiology,
psychology, sociology, and physics
The first day of the conference will focus on successes so far in implementing Consciousness-Based Education throughout the US and world, and the benefits of this initiative for individuals and institutions.

The second day will feature application of Maharishi's technologies of consciousness for the creation of world peace. This discussion will address the need to establish large coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers, specifically Maharishi Vedic Pandits in the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India and in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA.

At the symposium, scientific research on the Maharishi Effect of coherence in collective consciousness will be presented. Also, international leaders in the field of conflict resolution will be invited to share their expertise. The event will culminate in a dinner to help raise support for this ultimate and timely goal of creating world peace.
