New websites, programmes for women and girls offered by Global Mother Divine Organization-USA

The Global Mother Divine Organization–USA (GMDO-USA) recently reported that it has created an introductory lecture on the Transcendental Meditation Programme geared specifically for women and girls. The organization continues its outreach to women professionals through the TMWomenProfessionals.org website and 800 area code (toll-free in US) telephone number listed on the website. As this site rises in the search engines, referrals from the site have steadily increased.

The organization has two functioning websites: www.gmdousa.org and TMWomenProfessionals.org. A third website will soon be up and running. TMWomenProfessionals also has a presence on Facebook,^® with over 600 followers.

A number of publications have been completed, including a brochure on the Mother/Baby Programme, as well as a Power Point presentation encouraging nurses to learn Transcendental Meditation to prevent 'nurse burnout'. A beautiful brochure entitled Programs to Preserve Cultural Integrity and Promote Positive Trends in the American Indian Communities has been completed and is now being distributed to Native American communities. The brochure contains an introduction to the Global Mother Divine Organization* and outlines various programmes offered to women and girls.

In the spring of 2010, GMDO's Foundation for Total Knowledge Based Music conducted a song-writing contest, inviting participation from all age groups, from across the country. Winners have been chosen and will perform at a concert and celebration in Fairfield, Iowa, USA in 2011.

These programmes were featured in a presentation of GMDO–USA's achievements of the past year, along with new initiatives and plans for 2011, during the Global Mother Divine Organization's international 12 January celebrations in MERU, Holland.

New initiatives are also developing in many areas, including in-school and after-school programmes for girls; programmes for at-risk girls; women's minimum security prisons; and girls' sports teams. The organization looks forward to developing these programmes this year.
