The article features Colombian-born David Nayan. After earning a B.A. in Business Administration from Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, David embarked on a career path that continues to evolve, bringing him many fruitful and expanding opportunities to serve his country and the people of Latin America.

David returned to Colombia and ran for the Colombian Senate, gaining votes from every state and enjoying the fulfilment of seeing some of his proposals implemented by the President. He became a Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Programme and has worked with Father Gabriel Mejia in Medellin, Colombia, teaching the technique to at-risk children.

In 2008, David moved to MERU, Holland, and has been working as Latin American Director of Education for the Global Country of World Peace, assisting the Global Country Administrator for Latin America in developing educational activities. Their work has benefited more than 100,000 children and established coherence-creating groups that practise Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, in schools, prisons, and the military—to create an invincible, permanent state of peace, harmony, and progress for the whole population.
