Russia: Coherence-creating power of large groups of Yogic Flyers demonstrated

Two recent World Peace Assemblies in Russia demonstrated the power of large groups of practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme to create harmony and coherence in collective consciousness. The Assemblies were held simultaneously last fall in two major Russian cities, said an Administrator of the Global Country of World Peace for Russia in his year-end summary of achievements.

In the past year, many people have been taking advantage of other courses and advanced aspects of the Transcendental Meditation Programme being made available across the country.

Vedic experts from India are now travelling to Russia regularly—in the spring and the fall—offering Advanced Techniques. Many people are attending these twice-a-year courses; in 2010, nearly 300 people received Advanced Techniques in Russia. A Yogic Flying course is proposed for the coming year.

Two Refresher Courses for Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme were offered. The Global Mother Divine Organization* organized one course in the spring and other Global Country leaders for Russia held another course in the fall.

Fifty Transcendental Meditation Teachers have attended recent Recertification Courses and are contributing to this expansion of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes in Russia.

* The Global Mother Divine Organization, founded in December 2007, is the ladies' wing of the Global Country of World Peace.
