Hundreds learn Transcendental Meditation in Mongolia, coherence-creating group growing

2010 was a year of great expansion of programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Mongolia, including teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme, Consciousness-Based Education, and establishment of a coherence-creating group of people practising the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.

The first five Transcendental Meditation Teachers in Mongolia taught the programme to 200 people in 2010. Five more people from Mongolia are currently participating in a TM Teacher Training Course in Thailand, and will add to this momentum of expansion when they graduate in a few months.

During the past year, Transcendental Meditation Teachers presented at two education conferences in Mongolia, where they distributed thousands of pamphlets on the topics of Maharishi Sthapatya-Veda (Vedic architecture), Maharishi Gandharva-Veda music, and the new online course in self-pulse diagnosis being offered by Maharishi University of Management in the US through its distance education programme. Many educators at the conferences were eager to learn more about these programmes.

Another initiative underway in Mongolia is the translation of written materials about Transcendental Meditation and related knowledge and programmes, such as The TM Book, into Mongolian. This will allow many more people in the nation to learn about and participate in Maharishi's programmes.

At the Maharishi Invincibility Centre* in Mongolia, 80 Yogic Flyers practise together five days a week, creating an influence of harmony and coherence in collective consciousness. This number is half of what is needed to create invincible permanent peace and progress for the whole nation.

In addition to expanding the Yogic Flying group, goals for Mongolia in 2011 include building a Maharishi Peace Palace and implementing Consciousness-Based Education in a small college and several secondary schools that have expressed interest.

These achievements in Mongolia in 2010, as well as plans for the new year, were reported in continuing sessions of the 12 January 2011 global celebration inaugurating Maharishi's Fourth Year of Invincibility - Global Raam Raj.**
