11 January 2011
The new Global Good News Arabic-language website, www.arabic.globalgoodnews.com—featuring good news from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)—was launched on 10 January 2011, for the 358 million people in 25 Arabic-speaking countries, as well as millions of other Arabic-speaking people around the world.
The Arabic-language website is modelled after the Global Good News website. Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world from good news reported by the press; and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total Knowledge based—programmes to raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
The new website joins a number of Arabic-language websites launched in recent years about the Transcendental Meditation Programme—www.ArabicTM.org—and related programmes in health, education, and many other areas offered by Maharishi Health Education Centre in Lebanon and in other Middle East countries.
Other Arabic-language websites include: www.MaharishiTM.org www.TMBulletin.net www.alishraq.net www.invinciblelebanon.org http://magallat.alishraq.net AyurvedaLebanon.com
Dr Salim Haddad, Deputy National Director of Maharishi Health Education Centre in Lebanon, commented that organizations teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme have been established in many countries in the Middle East and North Africa; and that many people in other countries in the region have also learned the technique from Transcendental Meditation Teachers from Lebanon who traveled to their countries for this purpose.
