A large number of Teachers and practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme from Germany recently had the opportunity to enjoy a special residence course at the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace in MERU, Holland.
Participants enjoyed the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and created an influence of harmony and coherence in the environment through their group practice of the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.
They were also inspired by long-time practitioners of Transcendental Meditation, Prince Blücher and Princess Blücher, said Dr Eckart Stein, Director of Education for the Global Country in Germany, on 15 December. Prince Blücher led the knowledge meetings during the course in MERU.
Prince Blücher and Princess Blücher learned Transcendental Meditation from Maharishi in 1960. Prince Blücher later became the first National Leader of the Transcendental Meditation organization in Germany.
From 1960 onward, Maharishi's programmes and knowledge were a central focus of his life, Dr Stein commented. German translations of Maharishi's books and publications are among his many great contributions.
Prince Blücher translated Maharishi's book, Science of Being and Art of Living, into German, and part of the Science of Creative Intelligence course. In collaboration with a German medical doctor, he also translated the book Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and the Vedic Literature by Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, honoured by Maharishi as First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace.
The success of this course inspired organizers to plan for many more such courses in MERU, Dr Stein said.
