A new Maharishi Peace Palace in Malaysia has become a centre of harmony and coherence for the nation. The Peace Palace offers the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, including the Transcendental Meditation Programme.
Group practice of the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, takes place there every day, with a large group coming together on the weekend.
The success of two recent World Peace Assemblies of Yogic Flyers held at the Peace Palace has inspired organizers to offer such assemblies on a regular basis—every two months.
In addition, last month ladies had the opportunity to attend a special assembly hosted at a resort.
These peace-creating groups are supporting the blossoming of Maharishi's programmes. In August and September more than 60 people learned Advanced Techniques of Transcendental Meditation, and four new Teachers of Transcendental Meditation recently graduated from a Teacher Training Course held in Thailand.
There is also a high school in Malaysia interested in offering Transcendental Meditation and Consciousness-Based Education. Students, teachers, and staff will soon hear an introductory talk about the programme, a Transcendental Meditation Teacher said on 27 October.
Increased harmony and coherence are evident in Malaysia, the Teacher said. The economy is improving, the crime rate is falling, and the nation's leadership is working to bring more unity and harmony to the country's three main ethnic groups.
