Global Country of World Peace celebrates fourth anniversary of Invincible America Assembly

'Transforming America', the fourth anniversary celebration of the Invincible America Assembly, took place 2 October 2010 in the Golden Dome at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. Leaders of the Global Country of World Peace honoured the nearly 2,000 Yogic Flyers from the MUM, Fairfield, and nearby Maharishi Vedic City community who are currently participating in the assembly.

They also encouraged more people from Fairfield and around the country to join and increase the power of coherence and harmony the group is generating in the collective consciousness of the United States.

The celebration was fortunate to enjoy the presence and good wishes of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace. Opening the celebration, Dr John Hagelin, Raja of Invincible America, welcomed other prominent guests, including Dr Bevan Morris, Global Country Prime Minister; and Dr Howard and Dr Alice Settle, whose foundation has generously supported the assembly since its founding by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 2006.

In an inspiring address, Dr Howard Settle repeated Maharishi's words from 17 September 2006, in the early days of the Assembly: 'Today we are celebrating a turning point in the history of mankind'. Maharishi said that one day should be set aside each year to commemorate the great achievement of establishing the assembly.

Dr Settle reminded practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, of the extent to which their coherence-creating effect is magnified when practising the technique in large groups: 'A single Yogic Flyer alone will generate enough influence to positively affect 100 people—while that same individual, when practising in a group of 2,000 Yogic Flyers, will generate an influence to affect 200,000 people.' He also reminded everyone of the immediate goal of the assembly, to establish a consistent group of 2,000 Yogic Flyers—the minimum number Maharishi set as the requirement to create permanent invincibility for the US.

After reviewing the benefits of the Invincible America Assembly for the surrounding community, nation, and world, Dr Howard Settle went on to describe the personal benefits of participation for assembly members.

Following Dr Settle's address, Raja Hagelin further encouraged Yogic Flyers to join the assembly, addressing practical measures currently underway to maximize participants' daily experiences in the Golden Domes.
