Global Country of World Peace celebrates unity of silence and dynamism in total Natural Law

24 August 2010
On 24 August, the Global Country of World Peace celebrated a special day in the Vedic calendar, Raksha Bandhan, traditionally known as the day of protection. The celebration took place in MERU, Holland and at the Global Capital of World Peace in the Brahmasthan (geographical centre) of India. Participants in countries around the world enjoyed the live global Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3.
Introducing the celebration, Raja Harris Kaplan, Raja of Invincible India for the Global Country, praised the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Vedic Science, explaining that these celebrations throughout the year restore balance by drawing human awareness to the level of total Natural Law, bringing everyone closer and ultimately in complete harmony with the supreme goal of life, enlightenment for the individual and a state of invincible peace, progress, and happiness for the world.
Raja Harris said that this special day of Raksha Bandhan 'comes year after year to remind us of unity and diversity . . . that delicate day which ties two poles of life and reminds them that they are really just part of one eternal reality—that eternal silence and dynamism reside together, and in the residing together we find the total potential of Natural Law made lively for ourselves and for the world.'
A great highlight of the celebration, following traditional Vedic recitations by Maharishi Vedic Pandits in the Brahmasthan of India and in MERU, was the video replay of a beautiful address by Maharishi on the full-moon day of 28 August 2007.
In that historic address, Maharishi celebrated the light of a new dawn of Heaven on Earth for the six billion people in 192 countries of the world.
Maharishi said, 'We established Raam Raj [administration through Natural Law], last month on Guru Purnima.* And today, the first month, we are celebrating the sunshine of Raam Raj, even though it is the first ray of the sun. But, that is the ray of the dawning sun, which has dispelled the darkness of the night. ''Raam Raj dukh kahu na vyapa'' [in the reign of Raam, suffering belonged to no one]. That is the clarion call of our achievement for the six billion people of the world, 192 countries of the world, the clarion call: ''Now, every country bask in the sunshine of the Total Constitution of the Universe, Total Natural Law.'' . . .
'Really this first month has proved to be the month of successfully digging the foundation of eternal Raam Raj. In that administration of Raja Raam, suffering belonged to no one. The world will bask in the sunshine of bliss. The Constitution of the Universe of the ever-expanding universe has quietly taken over and that we see practically. Purusha** has taken over—eternal silence. Purusha has enlivened the eternal silence, and the door of affluence, positivity, invincibility is open. . . .
'Day after day, month after month, year after year, the clarion call of bliss and self-sufficiency—no conflict, no negativity, no suffering to anyone—will be more loudly heard. Long will live the descent of Heaven on Earth. Global Raam Raj is ringing the bell of Eureka as far as administration of society and the ever-increasing population of the world is concerned.'
In the coming days, Global Good News will feature a second celebration that was held later in the day on 24 August by the Global Mother Divine Organization.
* The annual global celebration of the eternal Vedic Tradition of knowledge, held on the full-moon day in July.
** Maharishi has explained that Purusha means the Self, the quality of infinite silence of the Unified Field of Natural Law. Maharishi designed the Purusha Programme for men who wish to dedicate themselves fulltime to the most rapid pace of evolution and to creating world peace, through extended group practice of the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, and through their administration through silence, fulfilling the goals of the Global Country of World Peace in 192 countries.
