Tour for Consciousness-Based Education, Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care inspires Canadians

Leaders of the Global Country of World Peace recently completed a two-phase tour of Canada, which inspired people all over the country about Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes, especially in Consciousness Based Education and Maharishi Ayur-Veda health care. Many also took advantage of the opportunity to have Maharishi Ayur-Veda consultations.

Reporting on the tour, Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education, described excellent presentations by leaders of Consciousness-Based Education programmes across Canada, commenting that it was very fulfilling to present their accomplishments to the tour delegation.

In Montreal, leading Maharishi Ayur-Veda expert Vaidya Manohar completed 50 health consultations in five days, before giving a beautiful talk during the delegation's final celebration. Dr Manohar then travelled on to Vancouver to provide consultations for 100 participants in an assembly there.

Dr Lothar Pirc, founder of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre in Bad Ems, Germany, delivered inspiring presentations on the tour about the importance of Panchakarma (purifying and rejuvenating treatment) for maintaining health. In the fall he will be bringing a group from Montreal to enjoy Panchakarma treatments at the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts, USA, of which he is President; and he continues to plan for the construction of Canada's own in-residence Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Center.

Dr Deans was speaking* from the inaugural session of Canada's Second Annual Guru Purnima** World Peace Assembly in Vancouver, with over 100 participants. He is leading the 10-day assembly, and commented that it is serving as a very fulfilling, grand conclusion to the tour.
